Bringing Treblle to Market and Attracting 10,000 Users

Client Overview

Treblle is an API observability platform that helps developers monitor and manage all of their APIs through a single interface—real-time tracking, error detection, and request replay included. The idea stemmed from the team’s own experience building ad-hoc tools to debug APIs. Instead of patching over problems, they built one platform to handle it all.

Following a seed investment from Nauta Capital, Treblle approached Solveo with one goal: to get the product in front of developers and build a user base that would validate, test, and stick with the product.

The Challenge

The initial challenge was clear—find and connect with Treblle’s target users. The platform had clear value, but it was early, and awareness was low. Treblle needed help building credibility, attracting early adopters, and launching the product in a way that resonated with developer communities.

As the user base began to grow, so did the challenge: balancing acquisition with retention. Treblle needed to continue bringing in new users, while also keeping the momentum alive for those already using the product—and ideally converting them into paying customers.

Our Approach

We started by identifying where developers spend their time. Communities like Reddit, Slack, and Discord became the core of our early distribution strategy. Instead of pushing promotional messaging, we led with value—sharing knowledge, starting discussions, and casually introducing Treblle when relevant. This approach helped Treblle stand out in a space where developers are highly resistant to anything that feels like marketing.

From there, we layered on credibility. We lined up podcast appearances, reached out to niche B2B influencers, and got the platform listed in startup directories. These efforts helped Treblle build trust and gain visibility. Within the first six months, Treblle surpassed 5,000 beta users.

As the product evolved, we shifted focus toward growth and retention. Product Hunt became a strategic channel—where we orchestrated two successful launches that secured the 4th and 7th spot on the daily leaderboard. These launches brought in over 400 new active users.

To keep the user base engaged, we launched a newsletter—designed not just to update users, but to open up a conversation around new features, use cases, and the product’s direction. This channel helped us grow to 2,000 active users in a short span.

In parallel, we ran a two-month research sprint with 300 participants, gathering feedback and behavioral data. The results helped the Treblle team prioritize their roadmap and make product decisions rooted in actual user needs.
