When we first started using AI at Solveo, I thought: this is going to be interesting, but it’s just another tool.
And honestly, it wasn’t a problem. AI, automation, and bots are just part of our daily workflow. They make tasks faster, smarter, and simpler. They help us write, organize, and prototype, things that once took hours now take minutes.
The technology itself is reliable, powerful, and unintrusive. The real challenge is not AI. It’s us, our emotions, our connections, our humanity.
Staying Human in a Sea of Bots
At Solveo, AI tools don’t replace humans. They amplify what we do best. But that amplification only works if we stay present, grounded, and connected to each other.
It’s easy to get lost in dashboards, notifications, and automated workflows. But if we focus only on tools, we risk losing our originality, our creativity, and the small, human rituals that make work meaningful:
- Conversations over coffee
- Quick check-ins and impromptu laughs
- Discussions about how we’re feeling
Those moments aren’t “replaceable” by bots or dashboards, and never will be. They are the anchor that keeps our team real.
My Role: Keeping the Team Grounded
As HR Manager and Design Thinking trainer, I see my role as guiding the team between efficiency and humanity. I make sure we don’t let tools dictate everything. We use AI to accelerate work, but not to replace reflection, connection, or human judgment.
Some of the ways this shows up at Solveo:
- We take time to discuss emotions openly, even in busy sprints.
- We make space for coffee conversations, laughter, and real-time brainstorming.
- We celebrate creativity, curiosity, and intuition, things AI can never replicate.
AI can do a lot, but it cannot feel, empathize, or inspire. That is why human touch is irreplaceable.
AI as a Partner, Not a Master
The goal isn’t to resist AI or reject new tools. The goal is balance:
- Let AI handle repetitive work and free humans for higher-level thinking.
- Let humans make decisions, connect with one another, and shape the culture.
- Keep reality, emotions, and original thinking at the center of every process.
When we get this balance right, AI becomes a partner that helps humans do what we do best, without replacing the things that make us human.
A Personal Reflection
At Solveo, I see every day how AI can enhance work without diminishing people. But I also see how easily teams can get distracted by the newest tools, the latest dashboards, and the next automation trend.
That’s why I focus on keeping the human side visible: the talks, the coffees, the debates, the reflections. That’s what keeps us original, empathetic, and creative. That’s what makes AI a support, not a replacement.
Technology will continue to evolve, and AI will keep transforming workflows. But if we stay grounded in humanity, connection, and reality, we can embrace AI without losing ourselves.
