Evolving the Brand and Marketing Strategy for Amigos Restaurant

Client Overview

Amigos is the first Mexican restaurant in Skopje, known for its vibrant identity and loyal customer base. Founded in 2006 as a traditional cantina, the brand underwent a full transformation after a decade—shifting toward a more modern, upscale dining experience. As the restaurant evolved, so did its visual identity, marketing strategy, and digital presence.

The Challenge

After ten successful years, Amigos reached a point where the brand needed to evolve. The challenge wasn’t just about a new logo or a refreshed interior—it was about aligning every aspect of the visual identity and customer experience with the new direction of the business.

The team needed to modernize the brand without losing its roots, build a consistent digital presence across platforms, and design marketing strategies that would engage both long-time regulars and new audiences. This required a full design and marketing revamp—without compromising the character that made Amigos recognizable in the first place.

Our Approach

We worked with Amigos from the ground up, leading the full visual and strategic transition from cantina to contemporary restaurant.

Our design team reimagined the visual identity, creating everything from the refreshed logo and menus to new banners, brochures, and in-restaurant creative assets. Every detail—from color palette to typography—was redesigned to match the new tone and positioning.

The digital experience was equally important. We handled the design of the website and took over full management of social media profiles for both Amigos Center and Amigos Ljubljanska. This included content creation, photography, post design, and daily customer support via Facebook and Instagram.

To reach wider audiences, we launched and managed paid ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google, handling both the creative content and performance strategy. Our team was responsible for audience segmentation, targeting, and continuous optimization to ensure the best ROI.

To keep engagement high offline, we developed and executed a series of branded events, including:

  • A Virtual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

  • Wine & Dine nights in collaboration with Tikveš Winery

  • A Charity Campaign for Stray Animals

  • Indo-Thai Cuisine Days, and visiting chef weekends

  • An Influencer Dinner in partnership with Carpisa and Yamamay

Every event was planned from concept to execution, helping Amigos build not just foot traffic—but community.
